The Secretary General of the Iraqi Turkmen Islamic Union (ITIU), Jassim Mohammed Jaafar, accompanied by a delegation from the Union’s leadership, visited the Presidency of the University of Diyala as part of his tour of Diyala Governorate. The delegation was received by the University’s President, Professor Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak.
The meeting focused on a number of issues related to the educational sector in Diyala Governorate, as well as the conditions of Turkmen students studying at the University, including those from the governorate and those enrolled from other parts of Iraq. The discussions underscored the importance of providing a supportive academic environment that contributes to students’ academic success and expands their educational opportunities.
